Practical Usability
The FM220U fingerprint scanner has been successfully tested and deployed in remote corners of India, and it has proven to work in dusty and harsh conditions. Techshino (TCO310)
Biometronic has partnered with Techshino to manufacture standalone fingerprint scanners that seamlessly plug in and work with the InFocus Mobile. A compact, high-quality optical fingerprint device, it has been certified by FBI-PIV, RoHS, WEEE, and WHQL (Win7/8/8.1/10).
Quality Build
To ensure the highest build quality, we are using sapphire glass for the scanning surface. We chose to go with sapphire glass over other materials as sapphire glass is one of the best options available on the market right now. It is nearly twice as hard as standard glass, with about 10 times the compressive strength of stainless steel. It is also highly transparent, allowing light of wavelengths from 150 nanometers to 5500 nanometers to pass through.
Scratch and Shatter-Resistant
In other words, it is extremely scratch and shatter-resistant with high levels of optical transparency, creating the best conditions for capturing fingerprints for biometric authentication while remaining handy and portable.
